EXTENDED SYNOPSIS:
Tao’s (Jackson Raine) old teacher and mentor Solon (Tim Robertson) requests that he join him and his students, Loriel (Michala Banas) and Rikko (Callan Mulvey), at the site of the lost city of Mydoro, the ancient home of the Eirons. Legend has it that the Mydorans possessed insurmountable weapons, unlike the Eirons in Tao’s homeland of Xinca. Solon firmly believes their Eiron ancestors knew how to harness the sun for healing purposes, but that they could also use that power as a potent weapon that could be deadly in the wrong hands. Solon has already discovered the entrance to the cave leading to Mydoro, but no sooner does he venture into the tunnel than the entrance door swings shut, trapping him inside. Loriel and Rikko go in search of help, but encounter a group of Nord warriors who recognize them as Eirons. The Nords become intrigued when they discover a crystal and a dagger in Loriel’s bag, and sense that these two have important information that Voden (David Paterson) will want to hear. The warriors capture Rikko, but Loriel escapes and flees through the woods, running right into the path of Dar, The BeastMaster (Daniel Goddard), and Tao, who have set out to meet Solon.

Meanwhile, Voden commands Rikko to take him to the site where Solon is trapped, and forces him to reveal the secrets of Mydoro. As Loriel guides her party back to the site, Sharak, the eagle, suddenly appears and alerts them that Voden and his warriors are nearby. Dar sends the others ahead, while he leaves Ruh, the tiger, to keep the Nords temporarily at bay.

Back at the cave site, Loriel and Tao use their Eiron rings to gain access to the cave. Once inside, they find themselves traveling through eerie passageways filled with spider webs and poisonous lizards, but no sign of Solon. Finally, Tao sees a narrow opening leading to a small cavern that they assume to be the Chamber of the Dead. They hear a loud moan echo through the chamber and realize it is Solon -- feverish and sweating from the bite of a poisonous lizard. Tao offers his healing herbs, but Solon knows that only the glow from the sun crystal can heal him. The crystal, however, is inside the Chamber of the Sun behind the

Watchful Dead, a mummified body which stands upright in a crystal cage, and is guarded by the poisonous lizards. Solon begs Tao and Loriel to get out while they can, but they refuse to leave him behind. Just as a giant lizard is about to bite Loriel, Dar arrives and deftly sweeps the creature away. With great effort, Dar manages to communicate with the largest lizard, which finally turns and retreats, taking the others with him.

Though he’s in terrible pain, Solon is able to guide his friends to the Chamber of Sun, the heart of Mydoro. They help Solon onto the healing bed and use the light of the moon to start the sun crystal glowing. Solon is soon enveloped in a warm, glowing golden light which revitalizes and renews him.

Now healed, Solon is concerned to hear that Voden has captured Rikko and has found the crystal and dagger. They are well aware that the power of the crystal could be devastating in Voden’s hands, and therefore they must do whatever it takes to stop him, even if it means destroying the Chamber of the Sun.

Guided to the cave by Rikko, Voden enters and commands Solon to reveal the secrets of the Chamber. Meanwhile, Dar rallies the poisonous lizards to ambush the Nords. Solon takes advantage of the commotion to set the crystal at a power high enough to melt the chamber, ensuring that Voden will never again gain access to the site.
