EXTENDED SYNOPSIS:

In her effort to remove a curse on Sharak, the Sorceress (Monika Schnarre) unwittingly frees the spirit of King Nolos the Terrible (Brett Arthur), the ruler of an ancient city now buried beneath Xinca. The evil incarnate slaughtered thousands before he was finally torn to pieces by the Eirons and buried in a secret chamber under his own palace. According to legend, Nolos warned that when evil prevailed in the world, his spirit would be awakened by a magic spell and he would return to take his revenge. True to his word, the evil spirit now stalks the townspeople of Xinca, shrouded in a heavy fog and killing all who fear him. The only way known to stop him is to destroy his remains.

The healer, Caro (Tasma Walton), calls Dar (Daniel Goddard) and Tao (Jackson Raine) to Xinca to help rid the terrorized city of the evil spirit, which has now killed 11 people. Dar's presence in Xinca does not go unnoticed by Zad's Knights, who report back to their King that the BeastMaster is in town. At this, Zad (Steven Grives) sees an opportunity to nab his prey, at the same time appeasing his nervous subjects. He uses the BeastMaster as a scapegoat for the killings, and orders his Knights and an angry mob of townspeople to go after him.

The invisible "hunter" continues to wipe out all who show fear, including Zad's Knights. Desperate, the King helplessly flails away at the mist in an effort to save his men. Zad is visibly shaken by his loss and uncharacteristically pleads for Dar's help. Dar only agrees to help Zad because he knows the killing won't stop until the "hunter" is destroyed, but it's an uneasy truce.

Meanwhile, Tao and Caro have found Nolos' tomb, but they flee when they sense the "hunter" is tracking them. By the time Dar and Zad make it to the tomb, Tao and Caro have escaped. Dar goes after his friends, leaving Zad alone in the eerie burial chamber. When Zad hears the sound of approaching footsteps, he draws his sword, swallows his fear, and waits for the spirit to appear. It's not the spirit, but Caro, who arrives with a warning that the "hunter" is close by. In an act of cowardice, Zad clips Caro on the jaw and knocks her out, leaving her for Nolos to feed on as he departs. The fog appears, creeping over Caro's unconscious body, but leaving her untouched. When Dar and Tao find her, they reason that she was unable to show fear since she was unconscious. In other words, Zad unwittingly saved her life.

Tao removes Caro from the chamber while Dar and Zad go in search of Nolos. Meanwhile, the Sorceress shows up and sheepishly admits her part in bringing Nolos back. She agrees to turn Nolos into flesh so they can fight and ultimately destroy him. Nolos appears in person (Brett Arthur), and Zad flees the chamber, leaving Dar to face the fight alone.

Dar draws the sword of Eldar and leaps into battle. When Dar finally succeeds in slaying the evil king, Nolos' body disappears once and for all into the mist. Dar warns Zad that the only way to ensure Nolos will not return is to end the fear and suffering in his kingdom.
